For our architectural and pre-cast customers we recommend a small selection of panels depending on the required finish and the number of reuses required; HDO's ( high density overlay )
and MDO's ( medium density overlay ) are the most common.
Our most widely used panel features a face veneer that has no football patches and a very fine tight grain. The combination of the overlay system and the face veneer virtually eliminates any transfer or telegraphing of patches or grain onto the cast surface. In addition, the design of the overlay system is of a very high quality and is manufactured
with very tight quality controls; this minimizes the staining or blushing sometimes associated with very light colored
mixes.
We also support mold construction with other types of plywood and dimension
lumber.
